Whether you need a Montgomery County Community College or Moberly Area Community College transcript request, the Clearinghouse will handle it.
Here is a step-by-step guide on how to request your MCCC transcript online:
- Order Placement: Order your transcript through the MCCC or the National Student Clearinghouse websites. The Clearinghouse will forward your request to the MCCC for approval.
- Order Processing: If you choose electronic delivery, MCCC will email your transcript immediately upon approval. For mail delivery, MCCC or Clearinghouse will send your transcript through the United States Postal Service (USPS). MCCC will inform you if your transcript request is on hold.
- Order Delivery: If you received your transcript through email, you will have 30 days to download it before the link expires. If you chose mail delivery, receiving your transcript may take five to seven business days. You can track the status of your order through the Clearinghouse website.
Important and Special Considerations
Keep the following points in mind when requesting your MCCC transcript:
MCCC charges $5 per transcript request. Some additional fees may apply depending on the delivery method you choose. For example, express and international delivery will incur additional costs. Rush processing is also available for an extra fee.
MCCC offers three processing options:
- After Grades Are Posted
- After Degree Is Awarded
At MCCC, the time it takes us to process transcript requests may vary depending on the current workload, approval status, delivery method, and other factors. Upon approval, we will send your transcript immediately. Rest assured, we will do everything possible to process your transcript request as quickly as possible.
You can choose from electronic or mail delivery options.
- Electronic Delivery: Your recipient will receive two emails: one with the link to access the transcript PDF and another with a password to open the PDF. Note that your transcript is official only if it came from the National Student Clearinghouse. You can download your transcript within 30 days.
- Mail Delivery: Your recipient will receive a paper copy of your transcript through the USPS. Generally, we mail your transcript within three to five business days upon approval, but it may take five to seven business days for USPS to deliver it. The destination, college and national holidays, and the USPS work volume and delivery schedule may affect mail delivery times.
MCCC will not release your transcript if you have any financial or other obligations to the college. You can pay your balance at MC3 Enrollment Services. For questions and concerns about financial holds, contact Enrollment Services:
- Phone: (215) 641-6551
- Email: firstname.lastname@example.org
If you need to submit additional documents with your transcript, include them when you submit your request. You cannot add any documents after submitting the request. Failure to include required documents may delay the processing of your transcript.
For mail requests, include your additional documents with the transcript request form and payment. For online requests, you can attach up to three files in pdf, .doc, or docx format.
Sealed Official Transcripts
If you’re requesting an official transcript, remember that opening the sealed envelope will void its authenticity. Be sure to handle your transcript with care to maintain its official status. MCCC is not responsible for any damage or tampering with Montco transcripts after mailing.
